The only way to remove the sensor from a player is to assign the player with another sensor.

It is also possible to delete former players, but then you will no longer have access to the statistics of these players.

The best solution is to create a new Team for the new season Team, and keep the Team already created as the previous season. This way, you will still be able to check previous statistics and also assign sensors to the new Team players.
